Darlin’ Cardigan
I can’t help it, I just love duster cardigans in the fall. It looks like you’re wearing work clothes but feels like you’re still in your bathrobe.
The fabric I used is also super soft. It’s a brushed hacci (sweater knit) from Sincerely Rylee.
I also like how it disguises a too tight dress right after Thanksgiving.
This is the Darlin Cardigan from Ragamuffin Patterns. There’s a matching pattern for girls, the Lil Darlin Cardigan. Both are part of the Anniversary/5k giveaway. There’s a code within the Ragamuffin Facebook group that will make one of them free during the release sale.
I especially like the neckline of this pattern. The high back neck makes it lay well and look polished.
I made the Duster length without color blocking, but be sure to check out the other gallery photos because the pattern includes color blocking lines for the back and bottom of the front that can really change up the look. Note the high-low hem also.
I’m wearing the Darlin’ Cardigan over my EAM To the Point Dress – Blog entry found here: https://www.kittymakesit.com/2018/11/to-point.html
