2018 Recap, 2019 Goals and the launch of KittyLately
In brief, I think I probably sewed 100ish items in 2018. I posted 65ish project blogs and several of those had more than one make in them. Plus there were a few baby showers where I was literally sewing until it was time to run out the door, so I didn’t get photos of my makes. I think I also have four or five pattern tests that never released and one Halla Elise dress where I accidentally caught the center of the bodice in my serger when attaching the sleeve. I think I can save it with just adding a dart, but I just haven’t yet.
I really couldn’t decide on a Top 9. I ended up with this graphic, but I’m not totally set on these. I’m so proud of everything I made this year.
2019 Goals
In short, I have so much more I want to try. I hope 2019 brings me the time to dedicate to see how far I can go.
I am thankful that my super old iPhone was able to wake up in time to capture this double rainbow. It came at the perfect time, when I needed a highlight in my day.
2019 is going to be the year that I give myself the space to try new things. Starting with a new website!
When I converted from Blogger to WordPress (my how-to blog post!) my BlueHost plan came with unlimited domains hosting. So that means I can have as many websites as my heart desires!
I’m not abandoning this site. I just want to keep KittyMakesIt nice and clean and curated to be useful to those looking for sewing pattern reviews and fabric information. All of my cluttered thoughts (like my 2019 goals – I don’t brainstorm pretty) will be over at KittyLately.com
KittyLately.com is a place where I can tie together my unrelated projects and the messy, random thoughts of a creative mind. I hope to connect to others in the creative community, support the Blogger Tribe through Sunday Lately posts and blog without cluttering my project pages.
I hope you’ll come visit and subscribe for updates to Kitty Lately! I put a link in the header to make it easy to jump from one page to the other. If a post crosses over and might be useful to readers of this site, I might occasionally duplicate or reference the other site.
Link disclosure: This post may contain affiliate links. Clicking the link doesn’t change the product or price you’re shown, but I might get a small percentage towards materials for my next project. If you found this post helpful and are planning to purchase the pattern anyway, I’d really love for you to use my link.
