Mamma Can Do It Comfy Knit Boxers and Lounge Shorts

Mamma Can Do It released a new boxers pattern! It has an elastic waist, optional working fly and no rear seat seam!

It’s hot right now so it was perfect timing for some new shorts! I used the longer leg cut line and left them unhemmed. I did not include the fly for either one of us as I intended them as shorts rather than boxers. As you can see, they’re great for doing chores!

There isn’t a separate men’s and women’s pattern, these are just unisex shorts when the fly option isn’t included (or when it is).

The only modification I made is to do the elastic as a casing rather than directly attached to the waist. Somebody…. has a preference. And is now an elastic AND a fabric snob. And I guess that makes me an enabler.

I used Sawyer hacci to make them be super soft and the unhemmed edge look cool since it will roll up. These are my scraps from the Freedom Of Summer Blog Tour project where I made us both free patterns.
