Carlisle Sweater by Annelaine Patterns

I made the Carlisle sweater by Annelaine Patterns with this fancy, pretty, sparkly hacci sweater knit releasing at the reopening celebration of the Fab Clique!

I wanted to use every last inch of my fabric and wrap myself in it! So I added 11″ to the pattern to make it duster length. I also graded the waist in a little so I can wear it more open

I use a french curve ruler to grade the waist in.

Don’t forget to add 11″ to your bands! They’re cut on the double fold, so just 1/4 of that needs to be added to the pattern piece

This is THICK hacci! Be sure you have a fresh blade on your rotary cutter.

I got so excited by by stripe matching that I put it on and ran outside to get photos of it and see it in all its glory before I remembered to put buttons on!

I’ll be living in this comfy, cozy cardi for the rest of winter!
