Rebecca Page Beach Collection

I made a woven thing and I didn’t chicken out!

This swim coverup/cardigan was a perfect intro pattern for wovens. It’s really really simple and I assembled it on my serger and coverstitch just like I would a knit, so I was more comfortable.

I used the Joplin Rayon Challis from Amelia Lane Designs. I had heard it’s really easy to work with that I found that to be true. It’s much less slippery than some of the wovens I have found at JoAnns over the years.

I like how the red liverpool Tangerine dress brings out the red accent to the fabric! I’m excited about this lightweight layer for allowing me a little more excitement in my summer wardrobe without adding weight of additional layers during hot summer weather.
