Sahara

I’ve owned this pattern since I got into PDF patterns. I’ve never sewn made a Sahara though, something always seemed to get in the way. I work well under pressure and get the most done when there’s a deadline, so of course I signed up to test the transition to trimless pages.

The pattern now has trimless assembly. It’s been very popular already and I expect this will boost it even more.

It has a lined bodice, no neckband and a circle skirt. There are separate pattern pieces for the full bust adjustment.

One thing that sets this pattern apart is that there is not just a separate FBA pattern piece, there’s also a back and lining that correspond to the FBA. I really found that helps with lining the bodice and how I usually lose some fabric during the turn and top stitch. This came out exactly lined up after I flipped the lining out.

Plus I love circle skirts. Cutting on the double fold is so satisfying.

I’ve been saving this fabric for awhile. I love the large scale floral. It’s double brushed poly from The Fab Clique.
