Jenny Cross Front

5oo4 Jenny Cross Front top and Tank I’m in love with cross-front anything! I like the convenient access, how it dresses up the look of an outfit and how it opens up the matching or contrasting modesty tank possibilities! The Jenny from 5oo4 is another great option for cross-front patterns. This one has a combination

Poppy

Ellie and Mac Poppy Top Ellie and Mac Poppy Top is another great scrap buster! I love working with Ellie and Mac because I feel like I am getting so much out of my fabric! I used black double brushed poly and green window pane Hacci Knit called Boulder from Amelia Lane Designs. You might

Everywhere Dress

When I signed up for this test, I didn’t realize how much fun I was going to have with the pattern. Ellie and Mac has really been keeping me interested with some color block coolness. Everywhere dress is a great scrap buster too. For this one, I used some leftover black scuba on the yoke

Below Zero

I snagged this glittery hacci (really! it has glitter) from Stitchin Pretties and I knew it needed a pattern that could match it’s personality.   I paired it with a soft black brushed waffle knit from Cali Fabrics. The Below Zero top from G&G is perfect!  The fabric and pattern together are such an outspoken combination.

Festive Peplum

Months and months later, the Mamma Can Do It Peplum is still one of my go-to patterns! This week I needed a festive outfit for “Tinsel and Formals” dress up day at work.  I wanted something that was comfortable to go to meetings with people who weren’t “in” on the dress up day but fancy

Autumn Spice

I love the remnant bin and I’m a sucker for a scrap pack.  Sincerely Rylee has the best scrap packs! I don’t know what it is about this lonely last yard of fabric on a bolt that makes me want to adopt it. But I end up overrun by scraps and challenge myself to use

Aspen

The new Aspen from Annelaine Patterns is perfect cozy wear for Fall in a waffle knit or sweater knit. I used Sweater Knit from So Sew English for this version. In a short sleeve, lighter weight fabric, this would be perfect for summer too.  I think a cotton lycra would be really great. The best

New Orleans

This might be the most flattering tee shirt ever! It’s the New Orleans from New Horizons. It fits so well without any adjustment.  That’s one of my favorite things about New Horizons.  I’ve tested the Cascade, the Joggers, the Bourbon Skirt and they all fit and flatter without modification. Checkout my blogs for those pieces

Sydney Slouchy

Nothing says Fall like a slouchy sweater. The Sydney is a batwing dolman with a slouchy neckband from Annelaine Patterns. I used distressed french terry from Elevated Fashion Fabrics to make it look extra relaxed!
